Elaine Wellman Hamnett, Vice President
Elaine Hamnett has more than 15 years of experience in events and public relations. She manages the KX team’s efforts for event and trade show clients, including public relations, marketing, event organization and more.
Prior to joining KX Associates as Vice President, Elaine served as Vice President/Group Management Director at Publicis Dialog U.S.A., a leading global communications firm, and was responsible for the company’s Consumer Practice Group. Previously, Elaine was Vice President/Group Management Director at Geltzer & Company, and an Account Supervisor at Schwartz Public Relations Associates, both independent agencies in New York.
The recipient of two public relations awards in 2001 - for the publicity campaign for the launch of the first personal digital assistant (PDA) for the teen market, and for a crisis program for Latex International, manufacturers of latex mattresses and pillows - Elaine has spearheaded programs for such clients as Motorola, Iomega, Sunbeam, Casio, Wamsutta/Springmaid, Lorus Watches, Whole Foods Market, Coral Sands Hotel & Resort, World Trade Center Concert Series, Manhattan Mall and Pressman Toy Corporation, among others.
Her experience includes developing public relations strategies with an emphasis on increasing sales, handling product launches, writing and developing press materials, generating media coverage in a vast array of print and broadcast outlets, booking media tours, organizing special events, driving media to trade shows and more.
