Founded in 1995, KX Associates focuses on offering dedicated, personalized, friendly and effective service to its clients. The firm excels in the organization of events for the fashion, textile, beauty and other industries. KX has successfully served hundreds of such clients worldwide including establishing foreign companies in the United States. In recent years, KX has expanded its capabilities to provide complete, high-quality and cost-effective trade show production services.
KX's talented staff is fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese. Other highlighted strengths include planning, budgeting, show production and operations, e-marketing, promotion, sales, audience and market research. Annik Klein, President
From launching companies in the United States to heading her own business, Annik Klein’s diverse business experience brings a strong expertise to the Communications and Management programs she spearheads. Her impressive career began at Air France where she was head of the ticket office in charge of sales and client relations for the company’s New York operation. Next, as Executive Vice President of Petrossian, she launched, promoted and developed the famous caviar brand in the U.S.
Annik then joined Maud Frizon USA as its President, restructuring the company, opening boutiques in various cities and developing a series of Maud Frizon licenses. A few years later, she became the President of Jean Louis David USA, settling the company in New York by opening eight salons, supervising more than 200 employees and developing a dynamic management and communications strategy.
In 1995, Annik created KX Associates, Inc. undertaking Marketing and Public Relations and Event Planning for such well-known clients as: Cannes Midem Organisation, Evian, Paul Bocuse, Roger Vergé and Régine. She also managed all aspects of fundraising and special events for major corporations and charities such as “A Night at the Oscars,” Cirque du Soleil, Pratt Institute, Lancôme, and Calvin Klein.
Annik is a a Foreign Trade Advisor to the French Government (CCEF Conseiller du Commerce Exterieur) and she is a Member of The French-American Chamber of Commerce. She belongs to several prestigious organizations including The Fashion Group International, CEW, The American Society of the French Legion of Honor, and Club 600.
In 2008, Annik was awarded The Order of Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur (National Order of the Legion of Honor) by France’s President Sarkozy.
Elaine Hamnett, Vice President
Elaine Hamnett has more than 25 years of experience in events, marketing and public relations. She manages the KX team’s efforts for event and trade show clients, including marketing, public relations, event organization and more.
Prior to joining KX Associates as Vice President, Elaine served as Vice President/Group Management Director at Publicis Dialog U.S.A., a leading global communications firm, and was responsible for the company’s Consumer Practice Group.
Previously, Elaine was Vice President/Group Management Director at Geltzer & Company, and an Account Supervisor at Schwartz Public Relations Associates, both independent agencies in New York.
The recipient of two public relations awards, Elaine has spearheaded programs for such clients as Motorola, Sunbeam, Casio, Marvel, Wamsutta/Springmaid, Iomega, Whole Foods Market, Coral Sands Hotel & Resort, The World Trade Center, Manhattan Mall, among others.
David De La Rosa, Project Manager
David De La Rosa serves as Project Manager for KX Associates, Inc.
A team member since 2011, he oversees event visitor and guest relations, coordinates exhibitor liaison and plays a vital role with the company's marketing department.
A native New Yorker, David previously worked for Columbia University School of Social Work's Linking Lives Program where he educated urban middle school youths and parents on the health effects of unprotected sex and tobacco use. As a Sales Associate for multiple retailers, he has gained excellent communication and customer service skills which he uses to build relationships wherever possible.
David’s passion for helping others extends outside the office as he also works in guest relations at one of New York City's top theaters.
